OVERVIEW
Farrprene IU450A is a soft, highly flexible compound for seals, grips and tactile overmoulds. Supplied as a translucent unfilled grade optimised for injection-moulding, it pairs the soft-touch feel of rubber with the clean, fast processing of a thermoplastic - no curing, fully re-meltable scrap.
The grade delivers a tensile strength of 4 MPa, elongation at break of >800%, and a specific gravity of 0.89. A balanced melt flow (MFI 5.9 g/10 min at 190°C) suits a wide processing window. Heat Stabilized.
