OVERVIEW
Farrprene IEU150A is an ultra-soft, gel-like compound for cushioning, vibration damping and anatomical soft-touch surfaces. Supplied as a translucent unfilled grade optimised for injection-moulding and extrusion, it pairs the soft-touch feel of rubber with the clean, fast processing of a thermoplastic - no curing, fully re-meltable scrap.
The grade delivers a tensile strength of 3 MPa, elongation at break of >800%, and a specific gravity of 0.88. Its high melt flow (MFI 20 g/10 min at 190°C) fills thin-wall and complex injection geometries with short cycle times. Heat Stabilized.

PROCESSING
- Runs on standard injection-moulding equipment; pre-drying is generally not required for unfilled grades.
- Suited to profile, sheet and tube extrusion lines with conventional single-screw setups.
- Unfilled formulation for the cleanest surface finish and colourability.
- Colour-matchable and re-processable - production scrap can be re-melted and reused.
