OVERVIEW
Farrprene IU60A is a versatile medium-hardness compound for general-purpose flexible parts and two-shot overmoulding. Supplied as a translucent unfilled grade optimised for injection-moulding, it pairs the soft-touch feel of rubber with the clean, fast processing of a thermoplastic - no curing, fully re-meltable scrap.
The grade delivers a tensile strength of 5 MPa, elongation at break of >800%, and a specific gravity of 0.89. Its high melt flow (MFI 21 g/10 min at 190°C) fills thin-wall and complex injection geometries with short cycle times. Heat Stabilized.

PROCESSING
- Runs on standard injection-moulding equipment; pre-drying is generally not required for unfilled grades.
- Unfilled formulation for the cleanest surface finish and colourability.
- Colour-matchable and re-processable - production scrap can be re-melted and reused.
